About MiaCMS
MiaCMS is a free open source content management system written in PHP and JavaScript. The project started as a fork of Mambo CMS, version 4.6.3 in April 2008 and in May the first version of MiaCMS was launched. The CMS could be used for any type of websites, from small individual ones to large corporate portals and ecommerce platforms. The features you will find in a MiaCMS demo site are similar to the ones in Mambo, and you can read more about Mambo CMS here. The last version of MiaCMS released was 4.9 and became available on July 2009. Since then, MiaCMS merged with the Aliro CMS project and is no longer being developed or maintained.
